We felt so prepared with so many options of things to do, places to see, restaurants to enjoy and just plain KIND people! I felt like I made a friend in the process! The home is tucked away in the most SCENIC space with the most INCREDIBLE sunrise you could ever see! We had all we needed and then some! Although the wi-fi doesn't work in most of Blowing Rock or mountain roads, we were able to get cell service, texts and such at the cabin which was nice! But they for sure let us know that ahead of time! If we ever get the luxury of returning to this gem of a town, there is no where else we would ever stay! Perfect for a family or even a group of friends! Thank you guys so much for your hospitality and helping us get the best local experience we could!

We invited friends to dinner (other families who were also vacationing/horse showing in the mountains) and we comfortably entertained 10 people. Driveway is tight but very typical of mountain properties, especially those with a view. And the view is WELL worth doing a few Y turns in the driveway, lol. I highly recommended wildflower cottage 😊🌺

It’s 30 minutes to anything in either direction. The tv was also quite small and outdated, which makes the sting of no-wifi worse, especially when a nine year old boy is in tow. i had an external hard drive to play movies but the plugs on the tv did not work. For some people this may be exactly what the doctor ordered.

Again the house and property are lovely, the view is great..there’s an air conditioner in every room. I was only there one night but probably would get quite irritating with children bereft of their screens for multiple evenings. For an older couple seeking quiet seclusion..probably perfect.
